My go to fish n chip store. Fresh fish and fisherman basket is worth it !nI’ve tried ringing them on Friday /Saturday nights so I don’t have to wait 15-25mins. But no use, they don’t pick up during busy hours, have to walk in.nHowever the last time I’ve been here, the fish of day was awful - fish was super chewy and bouncy. Next time I’ll ask fish of the day before ordering, but otherwise it has been good !
The seafood wasn’t fresh. oysters were sour& smelly the fish must have been rubbish because it looked like boiled chicken when it broke apart and i also ordered the paua on fries it tasted liked it had peanut butter in it, instead of the creamy look you normally have it was brown and oily.
Amazing kaimoana if you hanging out for a seafood fix. I ordered the fisherman basket $16.50 and was not disappointed
Really great seafood at a very reasonable price, from fresh and raw to the deep fried everything was excellent, the staff were lovely
I’m very disappointed to share that we purchased a whole Trevally fish over 2kg from your store for $25. However, when we got home and started preparing it, we immediately noticed a foul smell — clear evidence that the fish was not fresh.nUnfortunately, we had to throw the entire fish in the garbage, resulting in a complete waste of our hard-earned money. This experience has left us deeply dissatisfied, and I’m sorry to say that we won’t be returning to your store again.nI hope you take this feedback seriously and ensure better quality control going forward.
