Had a great time at this place. Came in for a couple of beers and some food, the pilsner and lager tasted fresh and bright, the prawn and pork meatballs were flavourful and satisfying and the best part of it all was chilling and chatting with some cool locals outside next to the wood stove. Places like this make NZ my favourite destination. Sending love and positive vibes from your friends in Canada, we’re the same kind of people
Good selection of craft beer. Try their special ones. I quite enjoy the hazy. They have a good selection of food and good area to walk around post meal. Big carpark beside it that seems free.
Very good bar in brewery. Good is delicious and there is plenty of beer to choose from. Definitely worth a visit!
Really delicious food and beer let down by confusing service. After ordering pizza and loaded fries, there was a good 15 minutes between the pizza being finished and fries arriving. Quite disappointing when our party of three were dining together with only one person having pizza. The staff excuse of them being made in different sides of the kitchen sounds like whitewashing. Good food let down by a poor experience. I'll be going elsewhere next time. Fries arrived 30 minutes after the pizza, disappointing.
These are the best loaded fries in whole NZ. They also let you taste the beer before you order it 10/10. Definitely worth a visit.
