Too many assessments at once, teachers prioritise more academically 'excelling' students over the mass of 'average' or 'poor' students. Good extracurricular activities and opportunities available. School life is quite a hustle to achieve exemplary results and the high workload doesn't help.
I spent 5 years at this school before leaving to Wellington high in year 11. The teaching was better at Wellington high to say the least. Unless you play 1st 15 Rugby dont bother trying to stand out. I need to figure out how to re pay my parents 50,000 for the time spent at this horrible school. Do not recommend, absolute waste of money
