The time had come to replace the battery in a Stinger 310. The sticker date on the battery read 06/02/14; it had been playing up for quite a few years but as it was hooked-up at home there were no real worries. I just happened to remove the date sticker and to my horror the commission date hand written was 20/10/10. This surely means that the battery was already 4 years old when installed into my new caravan. What sort of business ethics does this company have? Suffice to say I won't be purchasing a replacement from Sargent! Seems kind of fraudulent!
Great customer service. Had a problem with a module in my caravan last Month. They sent me a new one out straight away and instructed me by telephone how to install it. They also arranged to collect old unit. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff, it's good to know that good customer service still exists.
Very disappointed with Sargent Electrical, I recently renewed my tracking subscription for one year at the cost of £135, but after two months I had to give up caravanning, so I sold my caravan and cancelled my subscription. My storage site and insurance company refunded the cost of any remaining time outstanding, but Sargent said they don't refund any money after 14 days of purchase, and I will still have to pay for the remaining ten months even though I don't have a caravan or use their services. Also be aware, if you sell your caravan you cannot transfer your subscription to another van but have pay for another subscription. I feel this very harsh and does not put them in a very good light
On a recent holiday with my grandchildren I had a short within my caravan power unit which created smoke in the van and ultimately a shut down of the control panel. This left us with no heating, lighting, or water pump. A call to the technical support team identified the problem and after a quick dash 16 miles to the office they provided a replacement and expertise to carry out a repair myself. Within 2hrs I was up and running again. Fantastic service from all concerned. Thank you.
I had burnt connect on a circuit board on my Motorhome while in Spain , Sargent diagnosed the fault over the phone and got a new circuit board with power plug already made up for me fit , what more cold you ask for , excellent service from start to finish, all FOC , thank you James May and Sargent for your help .
Called sargent about renewing a tracking subscription for my motorhome, the customer services was fantastic and sorted my motorhome instantly.
Having had a problem with my caravan not connecting to the swift communication app I contacted sargent for help. From the outset their customer service was second to none. Nothing was a problem for them and have now agreed to replace my faulty comms unit free of charge despite my van being 5 yrs old. Thankyou Sargent for amazing customer service.
While away in our motorhome on day one of our holiday we had a problem with the Swift Command panel…. After technical help from the retailer that didn’t resolve the problem they suggested as a last ditch attempt to call Sergent… I spoke with James who am I am now referring to as “James the Legend” he sorted my problem out in under five minutes and saved our holiday… thanks James once again… now I can get back to my beer… and I will defiantly be having a drink for James.
First class service from a great company who genuinely deliver... In getting our motor home out after the winter break I discovered the control panel wouldn't switch on the 12v circuit wasn't activating. A call to the tech department resulted in instant great advice ref resetting the system which unfortunately didn't work in my case, so I bought a new control panel which arrived next day they offered a repair service but I wanted in quickly On our first outing we woke up on the first day to the water pump not working! we had 4 days ahead of us with no wash rooms on the site due to covid A call to tech support and the super helpful chap in tech support talked me through hot wiring the pump so that we had water while we were away. When I got back a quick call to order a new power supply they could have refurbished my existing unit, but I chose to buy a new one as we had booked another outing and the lead time for a repair was 4-5 weeks out. it arrived next day : Unfortunately the adapter lead needed to fit the upgrade wasn't in the box, mistakes happen a call to sales support and a lead was put in the post. While every company 'say' they give great service the reality is it's rare to actually see it delivered... Sargent actually DO give great advice and great service, I highly recommend them as a great company to do business with.
It is inevitable that hardware fails occasionally, I brought it to the attention of the support desk, Leah took ownership of my problem and made sure everything was sorted. I couldn't have asked for anything more other than a case of beer to enjoy on my next holiday.
