Really disappointed. When I rang up and enquired if they could hold a vintage oak cabinet for me, this would be picked up and paid for the next day. They told me 'no' that they have decided not to hold items as people weren't collecting. This is so disappointing as Id be paying cash up front. I work full time and can't just pop in at the drop of a hat. I wanted to secure the lovely vintage oak cabinet so I didn't miss out, but no was the answer. Yet I've been in numerous times before, and have seen 'hold for'...stickers over numerous pieces of furniture. Not sure why I am the exception. Very disappointed.nI also GIVEN generously to the Sallies over the years, and have donated hundreds of dollars worth of household items, clothing, furniture, shoes, decor and bed linen to them, and that is what I get in return. This really is Disappointing
Well stocked and great setup, lots to see and rummage through but it appears the lady stocking the clothing shelves left her manners at home. Pushing past hanging things on the rack without so much as an 'excuse me'. I purchased what I had on me without continuing around the shop and won't be back.nnManners go a long way.
A really lovely store . Well taken care of.. but the prices are crazy .. kids toys should not be 5 dollars for a little truck . Also some pots 12 dollars.. if it's cheaper at the warehouse.. then obviously we would go there.. has to be a two way street.. for buyers too . Keep prices low so it shifts
Best Salvation Army op shop in Chch. Lovely staff, Wide range of goods. Lots of furniture. Stunning displays and affordable prices. Been a favorite of mine for a long time
I mostly always walk out with something. Yes their clothing can be expensive. I think maybe they google lens to get their pricing? But they can have good prices on furniture of youre lucky. And they have a good turn over of stock too
