What a great service. Stopped in on our way back from a fishing charter in a hurry to get to our accommodation. Asked if they could fillet our fish for us the response “No worries shoot in to town and grab a coffee or beer if you want and I call you when they’re done!” We shot in grabbed some supplies from the 4 square and the fillets were ready when we got back. Thanks team!

What a peice of work the woman is. Literally almost ran out of her shop to tell me off. I’d let our small old and little dog a chance to stretch her legs after the hills -wee doggy was just standing next to the car. It wasn’t obvious there was an issue with dogs -another dog was wandering around happy to say hi. This woman must have a problem-should not be dealing with the public so bolshy and mean spirited. She kept saying the gravel car park was her garden. Hard to understand that. It is a shop. With a car park. Not a house There is no grass. Not a flower or plant to be seen if you don’t count weeds. No signs saying dogs not allowed. Honestly if she had just approached in a friendly or at least calm manner it would be all good -no problem to pick up the dog and put her in car. But we were shocked. She just didn’t need to be so loud and rude towards me. Must be sad cos it’s sad people who cause drama. Hopefully she can take the feedback and not get all mean spirited and slag me off. Bet she does though . My husband said the male owner is lovely but the woman is really mean. Apparently she’s yelled at and ranted at his fishing group before. Wont go back to this shop -awful angry owner plus price about same as the local supermarket
Awesome service!! We were able to organise to drop our fish off after the fishing barge during closed hours and it was all filleted and ready for us the next morning they go above and beyond!! Highly recommend for everyone to visit Salty Towers while they're in the Coromandel. It's a one stop shop that has everything you need. Thanks heaps!
