Absolutely amazing, best Sals I have been to. The garlic knots here are incredible, not sure what they do to them but they are delicious. The pizza was put together really well, and tasted delicious as always. Staff were very friendly and made the order really quick, despite it being a Friday night.
Never had a American style pizza before but this seemed really nice, very large slices and bit more expensive than a normal pizza but worth the treatFood: 5/5
Food was terrible cold and old, delivery person brought food from hells, theysals had used uber when i had contacted them directly not wanting to use uber. waited 1.5 hours in total before correct order was delivered, stone cold. @ of the 4 items were missing driver said he would bring but never came back. Contacted them by phone several times, no reply, emailed no reply, raised to sales national office got a bot reply thanking me for feedback. So all in all the worst service and food i have had in the last 20 years.
Finally found a good pizza place and an authentic NY pizza! We ordered the usual cheese and pepperoni half and half pizza — and both ate just mouthwatering. We also had the buffalo wings but wasn’t impressed at all — expensive and not delish. I will not order the wings again, but will surely be back for other flavours of pizza. UPDATED: If you’re after an authentic New York style pizza, Sal’s is the best place to be. This is my third time with them. Their pizza is huge and almost all flavours are tasty. I will definitely come back to try other flavours. Other than that, forget about the rest on their menu like the wings and all — small servings and pricey. If I didn’t order any side dishes i might give Sal’s 5/5.

Extremely bland - not new York, more like New Lynn !! First time here, prompt, efficient service I was the only customer. The "pizza" does not have any taste of cheese, odd seeing it is a cheese pizza! The knots are overpriced, doughy mouthfuls of blandness, zero taste, not the cheesy overload you may imagine. What is it with pizza in N.Z that it all comes out like a cheap South Auckland bakery pizza bread - 90% bread, 10% topping??? And $3.50 for a can of Coke??!! Look at the underside of the slice - overcooked - if it was naan bread you would enjoy a little crispy burnt bit, not on pizza though. Thin, with zero taste - branch was clean however, and looks cool. Should be 2/5. but I'm in a good mood oddly. Left a mediocre taste in my mouth, much like my last rship, I'll amend the review if I go back, and the product has improved. No problem with the staff.
Sal's Manukau produces boss pizzas, exactly what you want and expect from the New York style pizza. We tried the new flavour- 100 pepperoni black garlic, the cheesy umami spicy goodness is a winner. Cheers team, always worth the visit.
Yummy big slices of pizza. Nice treat from the usual pizza hut, Domino's & Select pizza.
I don't often review places but this Sal's has improved heaps lately! Really good vegetarian pizzas and lovely, quick service. Would recommend.
The capsicum on our veg pizza came incredibly brown that I thought it was all mushroom at first. Also the brownest mozzarella sticks I’ve had from Sals. Buffalo chicken was fine but need to do an oil/quality check for the rest…
