We contacted Jose and the team to hold a company event for about 40 team members. Have to say it was a fantastic evening. We were able to have an excellent choice of foods to meet our teams needs, a great range of wines and beers and genuinely friendly service from the waiting crew. Love the location. It has a great family feel to it. Thanks again
Jose and his family are fantastic. We arrived from England a few weeks ago and we now call it our local. Great variety of spanish beer and wine; and fantastic tapas. The paella is also particularly good. Very fair prices for central Auckland also. Would highly recommend!
Excellent range of Spanish wines spirits and beer. Tapas was good. With only one member of staff service can be slow in busy periods, but this is typical in a tapas bar. The Friday barbecue where you cook your meat is fantastic value.
My husband and I ate dinner here on our first night in New Zealand and loved it. The food and the service were both wonderful. The Guinness pie was delicious, and Jose was friendly and fun to chat with during our meal. If we ever make our way back to Auckland, we'll be stopping here again!
Unfortunately not good, the service from the waiter last night was actually great, he was pleasant and attentive, the good bit stopped right there! The food was very average and the pork tasted off and had lots of grisly bits in it, we could not eat it and left. The other part of this experience was actually calling them for a booking that was a mission in itself. We wont be going back, shame I was really looking forwad to finding a nice Spanish place to call regular.
Wonderful Spanish Tapas Bar at the heart of SugarTree Lane - great food and friendly service - highly recommended. Come up from Chch. Had a wonderful dinner with my wife and friend. Premo food the prawn cheese and bacon were amazeballs along with chicken nibbles and the meat Palau excuse my spelling but all in all awesome little restaurant well worth hunting out. Owner/barman is a GC.
Found myself in a friendly environment, ended up singing and making new friends. Prices were average, there's a free pool and also darts are available. If you intend to eat careuful on the time as the kitchen doesn't stay open until late.
Hidden away, but worth finding. It's always enjoyable to explore Spanish beers and wines with Jose the owner, who is quite a character!
