Tried quite a few dishes here and loved the food here. As always prices are on the higher side due to the restaurant being right in the middle of a tourist area. Portion sizes were decent and the staff was happy to accommodate our request to spice up the food on our request. Make a reservation to avoid having to stand in a queue.
Definitely worth trying. Pork springs rolls were really good. Too much onion in my Saigon noodles. Almost filled a quarter of my bowl. Pho broth is very tasty, beef was pretty good. Just missing the side dish of lemon herbs and beansprouts to make it perfect.
Loved the vibe of the place as we were walking by, so decided to try it and I am glad we did. Like most other restaurants they too seemed over worked due to school holiday tourist rush. But the staff was cheerful, and helpful. They accommodated walk-in customers with a smile. The service was very fast. Food and cocktails were delicious. Not many places can boast about their vegetarian and vegan menu. This place surely can. Loved the eye of the dragon cocktail, vegan spring rolls and chilli rice noodles with veggies and tofu. The vegan sauce served with the spring rolls was so good I asked for more and had it with mains too Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options . Do try the spring roll and rice noodles.
Incredible meal and awesome value! The service was also of the highest standard. My wife cannot eat gluten and they could not have been more helpful to us. We dined in one night and thought it was so good, we orders takeaway for the next night! Highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for the great meal and experience. Dietary restrictions: Excellent Gluten free options for Coeliac sufferers.
Highly recommended Vietnamese restaurant when it comes to travelling to Queenstown. I had Vegan noodle soup that came with fresh seasonal vegetables, soft tofu and yummy soup. Honestly, I did think that I made a good decision. Besides, I ordered some Vegan spring rolls for my starter, it's nice also. The restaurant was opening through Christmas.
Staff were lovely albeit it was busy! The food was delicious. The tofu had a great crisp with a really delectable sauce. Pho was a good pho and great for veggies maybe would love a few more veggies but it was very filling, same with the other dishes. Good price for what you get for queenstown.Recommended dishesLemongrass Chilli Chicken, Vegan Noodle Soup
Fantastic service and delicious food! I am gluten free and my partner is a vegetarian, but we had so many options to choose from! Food came quickly as well :
Vietnamese restaurant in Steamer Wharf. It can be quite busy at dinner time, however you can book easily on their website beforehand. Delicious Beef Pho and Chicken Laksa. Please note that they do explain to you that the prices you see on the menu is for the small white bowl and you can extra for the large and extra large
Decent vietnamese food, but seems to be popular as the dinner crowd hit right after we got a table and it was packed within minutes. Portions and pricing was reasonable. Service was mediocre, unfortunately. We ordered Beef Pho, pork spring rolls and a thai iced milk tea. The pork spring rolls were tough on the outside and dry on the inside, we don’t recommend it. The beef pho was pretty good, didn’t come with the usual garnishes as a pho would. Thai iced milk tea wasn’t too bad. Tables tend to clear out pretty quickly, so I’d say just wait for a bit and you should get a table.
Cheerful enough but lacking in spice or chili. Sauces just very sweet. I had pork chop with fried egg which was served and a miserable bed of now cooked shredded lettuce. Drinks were good and staff friendly. Fine for a very watered down experience
