Enjoyed this cafe a lot - the coffee and food were all delicious with loads of great veggie options! Great service with lots of smiles.nI loved the Maple and Walnut Basque Cheesecake - so creamy and delicious.nnThe decor is slightly uninspiring and felt a bit corporate which is at odds with how delicious and imaginative the menu is!
I just had a very bad experience at this place. Me and my partner got a pie and a toastie. The pie was all right, but definitely too expensive for what it was at $12.50.nThe toastie however was honestly disgusting, I think the picture speaks for itself.nFirst off, it was not even toasted, the bread was soggy and didn’t even have butter, and amazingly enough it took 15 minutes to make it even though the place was completely empty as it had opened just 20 minutes before we came. We ended up toasting it at home.nnTo top it off, the waiter just dropped the toastie on the table and didn’t event look at us, we’re definitely not coming back.
Thought I’d treat myself to breakfast somewhere local on my birthday and decided to check out Sage and Brew. I was very impressed with the food and the quick service! It’s a lovely, calm, inviting space. I will definitely be back and will happily recommend it to others.
New favourite spot for coffee and brunch! Honestly the yummiest food, I’ve had the steak frites YUM and the eggs benny! Double yum! The coffee is consistently good every single time and it’s so hard to find a place that’s local that makes great coffee and great food! Highly recommend!
