BEST CAFE in AUCKLAND - Best service + Great location + Beautiful atmosphere + Delicious food.nnBeen here a few times already and is my new favourite place!nnBest Sweet Scones - particularly love the Ricotta + Honey combination. Also the coffee is delicious here as well!nnStaff are very friendly and attentative.nnVery suitable to take children - spacious seats, not too loud, kids toy box as well.nnWill be back again!
Visited Dulcie in Devonport and it’s easily one of the most beautiful cafes around — a huge space right on the beach, filled with natural light. There’s cabinet food and a full menu, and the atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. Our waitress was lovely.nnThe menu is interesting, taking classic dishes and elevating them. I ordered the mushrooms with focaccia, expecting something like mushrooms on toast, but what arrived was so much better. A full plate of mushrooms with harissa, confit garlic and lemon yoghurt, silverbeet, tomato zhoug, toasted seeds, and focaccia. So many flavours and textures, a generous portion, and genuinely delicious.nnThe ricotta pancakes with poached pear were also a big hit — my friend said they were the best brunch/dessert-style dish she’s ever had.nnOverall, definitely worth a visit.
Love this place. I went here a few weeks ago with my group of girlfriends and the menu both food and drinks had some unique twists and some classic foods that were all fantastic to the point it was hard to pick what I wanted more.nnThe staff were so kind and friendly, helpful and kind. The atmosphere is wonderful as you look out to sea and enjoy your food while you can see the chefs doing and awesome job from the open kitchen.nnWe all wanted to go back and actually did do exactly that, and again it was again fantastic.nnI would highly recommend Dulcie Cafe
Amazing restaurant next to the waterfront. Hats off to the Chef who has some great culinary skills and very creative with use of ingredients and his fusion techniques of spices & herbs are just next level.nVery impressed with the Roti-eggplant dish, the Fish and Chips was amazing BUT the award goes to the Pistachio Mont Blanc coffee. Pure class.nNot forgetting their signature scones, which are big in size and taste. Just the right amount of sweetness and fluff and top it with some pear and cherry jam nService by the Waitresses is well executed.nPrices are up there but can't complain when the dishes are so fresh and tasty. Definitely going back.
We had the pancakes, eggs on toast and Ruhbarb strawberry matcha. The pancakes were incredibly fluffy and light. I especially loved the pear topping; it wasn't overly sweet, which complemented the dish perfectly.nHowever, I found the rhubarb strawberry matcha a bit disappointing as the matcha flavor was lost, which felt pricey for the experience.nDespite that, the vibes and the pancakes are definitely worth it. I’ll for sure be coming back for a second visit!
