All SafeBottles are made from 18/8 food grade, high quality stainless steel. Unlike aluminium, we don’t need to coat the inside with an epoxy lining, which becomes dangerous if scratched.
In fact all commercial hospitality cooking and most brewing is made in stainless steel for this reason. Some studies also indicate that aluminium can contribute to Alzheimers.
Our bottles don’t retain or leach BPA or other toxic chemicals. Water remains the way it was suppose to be – clean and fresh. All our lids are BPA Free, polypropylene (PP#5).
