We live overseas and have had our rental properties in Rotorua for many years now so having a good manager is crucial for us. Donna at Russell Hardie has been managing all our properties for about 8 years now and we had been through a few other managing companies prior but Donna and her team have been fantastic and the best Property management team in the area. Their role is not an easy one juggling Tenants and Landlords and I feel they are strong but are very fair in balancing the Tenants needs as well as the Landlords. Highly recommended.
We have been using Russell Hardie to manage our rentals since 2012 and have highly enjoyed their service. Russell Hardie are extremely professional and are genuinely concerned about looking after your property. They make sure you are getting the best price in the current market and that the tenants are looking after your property. They found us the right tenants to suit our situation, and do regular property inspections with comprehensive reports and photos. We highly recommend them! Donna Russel and her staff @ Russell Hardie are the best in the business!
My wife and I have been landlords for over 30 years, with several rental properties in Rotorua for the past 15 years, during which time Donna has managed our rental properties. During that time Donna and her Russell Hardie team have been very diligent in ensuring that our houses have been occupied by responsible tenants and they have always been fair and reasonable with both tenants and ourselves. I definitely recommend Donna and her team as excellent property managers who deal fairly with tenants and landlords alike.
Good Property Managers are hard enough to find, let alone exceptional ones. Donna and her team have managed my Rotorua properties hassle free for just shy of a decade now. Leaving the day to day dramas and the more recent barrage of compliance requirements up to her has enabled me to be 'hands off' and continue to grow my business = value delivered. She is an active investor herself actually very rare in the profession so she understands the objectives of a professional investor, whilst also ensuring the expectations of our customers tenants are either met or exceeded. I switched to RH a couple of years ago after a poor experience with another property management firm. Since then, Donna and her team have been proactive, have advised me of any work needing attention for those reviewers that have complained about lack of action, that is on the owner, kept the property at market rates, and helped nurture a long term tenant that knows how to look after the property. Also, as an offshore owner, Donna and team have been very helpful, in helping me meet the healthy homes requirements. If I were to summarise Russell Hardie in one word, it would be "Professional".
I have been a tenant and a landlord for over 20 years. I wish I had Russell Hardie when I was a tenant. As a landlord, I have worked with at least ten property management companies. Russell Hardie has provided by far the best service, most efficiency, best organisation, attitude, fairness, honesty and professionalism. I suggest if more people used this service there would be much less need for tribunals. I will be using Russell Hardie for many more years and recommend her to anyone that wishes to manage or rent a property.
Donna and her team have been managing property for me, for over ten years. From the the beginning she has been nothing but professional. Getting the best return on my investment while still helping me to fulfill my obligations as a landlord. Her regular newsletters help me keep up with changes in legislation and current trends. Russell Hardie has been managing our properties for about two years and we have complete confidence in their services in managing the properties on our behalf. They are thorough, keep you well informed, and proactively follow up on any issues that may arise. Their admin payments, emails, statements, keeping up to date with law changes, etc is consistently efficient and we never have to follow up. They certainly make the whole process stress free!
You guys are amazing team that cares about being a great property managing company. You make sure that the landlords are up to date with all the new government provisions so that tenants are housed in places that are dry and warm. You also keep track of the current trends and regularly undertake routine inspections to address any issues in a timely manner that may require attention.
