We booked at “Thermal Adventure Retreat” and were extremely disappointed. The thermally heated pool was tepid and cracked and was about 30cm deep. The house is advertised for 11 guests but has table and chairs for 6 and not enough plates, glasses, knives and forks. Poorly provisioned overall with minimal furniture and half of us ended up sitting on the floor a lot. The fact that we requested a house with pool or spa in winter would’ve indicated we wanted to use a hot pool and the managers didn’t care that it was broken and not fit to be advertised as usabl e. I wouldn’t book through this company again. I would’ve taken them to DT for false representation and a full refund, but lucky for them, I wasn’t the person who booked it for the group. Poor effort.
We stayed at the Beez Knees holiday home . Perfect for family with Kids . Spa pool was great. Fully equipped kitchen and new property .Very clean . The only downside was that it was too cold in the rooms . Even though the heat pump was on , prob recommend small heaters in room . And the hot water pressure was very low. Otherwise a very pleasant stay .

Do not book with Innlist Rotorua. I had booked with them on the 28 Jan 23, I was coming from Auckland but that was the weekend of the Auckland flooding. My house was flooded, the roads were flooded even the airport was closed. Auckland was in a state of emergency. Yet the host did not let me cancel. They said I could reschedule but they didn’t have an available time for months. They made me believe I could get a refund from Airbnb & it’s up to them but that’s actually not the case, the host denied giving me back the refund. Extremely heartless & greedy. I’m actually shocked that they were allowed to get away with this, we can’t as a society continue allowing greedy, heartless people/businesses make money like this. So please avoid them, because god forbid you have an actual emergency, they will not treat you more than just a pay check.
