Royal Dumpling & Noodle

Myself and hubby are there once a week or with our adult children we all love yum char myself shrimp wonton noodle soup best soup ever sometimes lack of flavor different chef I think. We always get shrimp dumpling which I love. We are regulars when we first started going to this place a few years back great service maybe because it wasn't known then always empty but now its a bit steady not much of great service lol. We could go in order same thing it takes 10mins nice. But we always go back. Kid-friendliness: There's no high chair. Wheelchair accessibility: Its a tight squeeze you cannot fit a wheelchair.

Great food service was great as well.Not long to wait for food. Vegetarian options: Vegetarian fried rice was nice

Unsure how long this small suburban Chinese Restaurant has changed hands but was recommended by my friend's friend. It's unusual that a small restaurant of this size seats about 40 persons would offer Yum Cha dishes not the full range however, Dumplings and other main course dishes. It was fairly well patronised approx 20 when we went there for lunch on a Sunday. The Yum Cha dishes we had Prawn dumplings, Pork dumplings and BBQ Pork buns were well priced at $7.50 and $8 and were large in size. The first 2 were comparable to the more established and well known restaurants but the BBQ Pork buns were just OK. We also tried one of the Rice Noodle dishes and unfortunately, although large in size lacked a little flavour. I would certainly go there again if only for Yum Cha lunch and maybe try some of their other dishes on offer.

Im not sure if this was just coincidence or if the lady is racist but she gave every other table a tea pot. I was the only exception. Im also brown. Who knows. I had to go up and ask after waiting 20 mins for food if I was 'special'. 2022, eh?

Let me start - the dumplings are great, very tasty and filling, also cheap. The downfall here is the terrible customer service, never a smile or greeting. The delicious dumplings are the only reason to come here. Perhaps take away is the best call .

Big portions and good price. Food was not bad, just very quiet when we dined in at 6pm.

When you come here-and you absolutely should- expect delicious homemade dumplings with tender fillings, panko breaded tempura and about 30cm long spring rolls! It was all so good, piping hot, quickly served and the portions so generous! No one will ever leave hungry! Highly recommended!

We shared 5 dishes dishes between 4 people and a baby bowl of rice. We had a drink each and it came to $100. I was very impressed by the quality and tasty dishes. The service was excellent. A really nice touch of serving us tea on arrival. I would eat here again.

Best homemade dumplings in Royal Oak. Tasty. Vegetables are always fresh and crisp. Garlic bok choy is fantastic. Going to this restaurant is like being welcomed to a family home. Maybe they should correct the spelling to Royal Dumpling.

Good went there for dumplings was nice dumpling dough was a little bit on the sweet side but still yum, don't know about the customer service the lady was busy but didn't get a dish to do my sauces in or hot tea like everyone else had on their tables. Other then that it was nice
