Enjoyed a catchup with long time friends. Lovely staff. Lovely prawn cocktail. Retro, took me back. Nice seafood pizza. Hubby enjoyed his steak. Main took a wee while but it was very busy and it did give us time to chat. Paid parking available behind.
My partner completely loved his ribs - rib sauce was incredibly tasty and the meat was falling off the bones! My T Bone was alright, it was not particularly flavoursome as I expected but it's ok.Thoroughly enjoyed my dessert of Mango Cheesecake, super fresh and yum. Great Christmas atmosphere in the pub.
The bar is really interesting with a good vibe. Nice food but timing was off, as one burger was cold and the giant plate made the chip portion look even smaller than the hand full of chips that was given. Ribs could definitely be better, the meat should be falling off the bone. The BBQ sauce is delicious tho.
Excellent service! Best selection of breads with a decent amount of dips for a change. Pork belly was divine. Also the Seafood platter which is also shown on their Thirsty Whale sign. Thanks for a memorable evening.
Good food and reasonably priced. Wait staff were Great. Manager was professional in dealing with a small issue we brought up too which was a relief. Would definitely come again. Thank you!
Outstanding customer service and great atmosphere. Food is nice and the patio is the perfect spot for a wine watching the fishing ships get back to town.
Not enough stars to rate the food and staff. We had a group of 26 ranging from toddlers to adults. Great service, EXCELLENT food. Great value for money and waterfront location. Surf'n'turf and the loaded wedges was a favorite of ours.
My go to spot in Napier for steak, unfortunately it's never perfect on quality, all ways nice service from staff , and as always a great view on the harbor.
