Story

To organise and facilitate regular events and seminars throughout the year providing the opportunity to connect and develop as leaders; and

To educate through the provision of inspirational business, sporting and community leaders at events and seminars; and

To provide a voice by seeking views on local and national issues with the consensus provided as submissions to local and national government; and

To undertake fundraising activities and promote other charitable organisations and community groups within the District; and

To always act in good faith and adhere to the highest ethical standards; and

To collaborate and connect with other business advisory and non-profit organisations to collectively focus on the sustainable economic growth and wellbeing of the District; and

To offer mentoring to local students interested in business, emerging businesses, and anyone considering commercial enterprise; and

To initiate, facilitate and implement angel investment forums including “dragon dens”; and

To undertake such other activities and provide such other assistance, whether by way of financial assistance/support or otherwise as the Trustees see fit, of a charitable nature for the benefit of the District.

To improve the leadership and collaboration of the business community driving sustained economic growth and well-being of the Rotorua District (‘District’).
