Having previously completed the strip club and kitchen rooms, we were excited to hear of the latest room "The Missing". We were intrigued with it being only 30 minutes, however we were told it wouldn't matter if we went over the time. The room is definitely a great challenge, and is made to the same excellent standard of Rotofobia's other rooms. We loved the variety of puzzles and for the lower price point, it's great value for money too. The owners clearly love what they do and take pride in every little detail which makes for an awesome experience. We'll definitely be back to check out their next room!
Have done the Hell's Kitchen room and Strip club room with friends - both times have been challenging, fun and super satisfying to escape! We just completed the new 30min room "The Missing". We were told this is the most difficult room yet and having a shorter time limit makes everything so much more intense. We enjoyed the challenge of this room and the out-of-the-box thinking needed to figure out the clues. Would recommend for everyone to give it a go. Definitely looking forward to any new rooms being introduced at Rotofobia in the future.
Absolutely excellent room we did Hells kitchen. Challenging and fun; one of the best ones I've ever done! Our host was great too. She was very helpful and lovely and added to the experience.
Super cool and well done escape room. My partner and I did the strip club escape and we had lots of fun! Super friendly staff as well! Cannot wait to come back on our next trip to Rotorua! Thanks so much Patty and team!
Me and my partner have done 10 plus escape rooms before and this was definitely our favourite. The owner's do small things in there rooms that others don't which make the rooms more enjoyable! The staff were very friendly and very passionate about their escape room and making there guest enjoy them selves. I would highly recommend trying ROTOFOBIA
A fantastic escape room experience! Bianca was working that day and she was really wonderful with our 8yr old who felt a bit nervous. Will absolutely go back and try other rooms! The room difficulty level was spot on too we did the 6/10 room.
Myself and my partner LOVE escape rooms and this place is definitely our favourite. The strip club room is the best escape room we have ever done. The owners take real pride in what they do and it shows. We have completed all three of their current rooms - most recently 'The Missing' which is their 30 min room. It was an interesting challenge attempting to escape in such a short space of time and very well done. We really enjoy how few locks Rotofobia use and how they differentiate with their unique ideas on puzzles. Highly recommend taking the time to do all 3 rooms. We look forward to new challenges Rotofobia!!
Awesome experience! Went for the first time with my friend on Sunday and my gosh what a challenging attraction! The service was excellent, we were greeted upon arrival and let in 10 mins early. The team were very patient with us and helped whenever we were stuck we were stuck pretty much the whole time lol. Attending this escape room made me want to do more and more! Love it! Thank you for having us!
Great experience! So nice to see the story and set up being so professionally executed! We loved the fact there where only limited padlocks and lots of other tricks! Nice staff and authentic setting rounded up the experience! Thanks!
I never write reviews, but felt compelled to tautoko this Rotorua gem! Great for first-timers like us and seasoned escape room vets x Staff is A-Class couldn't ask for better nor will you find it Special shout out to Keane! If you're a local and haven't experienced it you haven't lived, if your passing through don't miss out!
