Stayed 4 nights in Thames & couldn't have chosen a better motel. We were upgraded to a big apartment for 3. Apartment gated so perfect for children or safety requirements. Lovely private outside spaces. Motel tucked away end of quiet street so no noise was heard. Wonderful ambience & formal manicured gardens delightful. Tranquil fountain. Will stay here whenever in Thames, thank you.
This is my third stay at the Rolleston Motel. I love that it is a street back from the main road making it nice and quiet to traffic noise . The rooms are well set out and are well equipped . Beds are comfortable and linen clean and fresh. The refreshed decor/chattels in some of the rooms makes for a pleasant stay. Staff are very accommodating. I was in a room that had an older step up shower , it was no problem to move us to another room with walk in shower for my daughter who has disability . I like that they offer two beds in the rooms .Very reasonably priced. My favourite motel in Thames . We come to see mother in aged care so we visit often as we can. This is my first choice out of the several we have trailed in Thames.nWe will be back soon. Thank you.
Friendly check in experience.nSpotless room/bathroom.nComfy bed and cotton bedding.nA good fan was in the room, definitely needed.nWe were told the only difference between Avalon and Rolleston was the aircon available at Avalon.nBonus was we needed a pet friendly motel and this was perfect!nSpa was a nice bonus as was the pool - a little tired looking overall but totally useable!nOur studio had a small patio area and the only thing that was of note, was the ranch slider made an awful loud 'crunching' sound when opening/closing.nGreat place for the price and super happy they allow pets!!!
Room was small and cozy with all the amenities I could need for my short stay. It was well maintained i couldn fault the cleanliness or the staffs service. The spa and pool are small ideally suited for a quick refesh or relaxation session after travel.nThe motel is ideally located two streets over from pollen street so easy to reach bars and restaurants.
I stayed 3 nights and found the room to be spotlessly clean and comfortable. The shower was huge and had really good pressure. I couldn't ask or expect more from a motel.nI used the laundry and was pleased to find soap powder supplied.nThe receptionist was lovely and very helpful.nI will be staying there in the future.
