Excellent service. set us up with gear and took the time to ensure well fitted etc. Even gave my 13 year old some tips. Easy to extend the hire and also cheap! Don't go anywhere else. Go here.
Was disappointed when son and husband came out of the shop with duct tape wrapped around the binding, a chunk out of the board, barely any wax and blunt edges. They were asked if they wanted good or better and had chosen better, which this was not. They went back to get a better binding and we’re told there weren’t any, until my husband insisted and another binding turned up.
Awesome service and really affordable, good quality gear. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed including letting us rent brand new goggles and running down the road to find a helmet that fit me. Also let us take the gear the day before we went up the mountain, at no extra cost. Can't recommend Rocket Rentals enough.
Something must have changed since the last reviews were left. The gear is good and the service was the best I've had. When they didn't have goggles for us they opened brand new ones for us to hire.
Used this place a few times both to get my board serviced and for ski rental! Would definitely recommend using these guys- staff are great! Very Friendly and efficient. Also did a great job servicing my board for me - wouldn't take it anywhere else. All for the best prices in town!
Not happy with the service. Rented a pair of ski boots and got charged that evening as 1 day. Lady was rude and snappy a bit scary. The guy was lovely. I would not recommend this rental place. Nothing wrong with the gear I rented but the lady made me feel upset
Was the best value in town, but even though we got their "better" snowboards, they were still quite crumbly and the bindings even started failing to lock later in the day despite removing all the snow, limiting our time on the snow. Will go with a higher quality rental provider next time
I would recommend them. My brother and I are good skier 25+year of skiing and rent their material which is a good deal for the price $29 for the better deal. The ski are not new but in good condition and well maintained. Mainly when ski field around are small and do not require much technical ski but if you are looking for some cross-country ski this would not be the shop.
Ski hire is cheap here but I'd avoid and go elsewhere. Took staff here almost an hour to fit me with skis when there was only one other customer in the store, fitting was sloppy and the equipment the worst I'd ever hired. I later went to Green Toad around the corner and got much friendlier, better service and better skis for only $2 more a day.
