A true gem of a cafe in Rolleston! The ambiance, service, food, and hospitality are exceptional. You'll want to try this place. I had the big breakfast, and my friend had the eggs bene with smoked salmon; both dishes were incredibly fresh and reasonably priced.
Enjoyed our lunch. Kids meals were a great size, they couldn't finish them, but did fill up on a milkshake. Adults had fried chicken sandwich and the big breakfast. Wasn't too bad, but wouldn't pay full price booked on first table. Sweet treats in the cabinet looked good but we didn't try any. Iced latte and iced Americana were good too.
Always had breakfast before work at RH but the food quality has dropped a lot and same as the service… over heated my muffins or loaves or the egg omelette is slightly burnt… food is not ready by 7:30am sometimes…
It’s really shocking, more than half of the whole bowl of fries was basically trash. Leftovers like that should have been thrown away, but they still sold it to customers. Unbelievable.
This morning, we visited for breakfast and unfortunately encountered several issues. The coffees we ordered were not served at the correct temperature — they were far too warm. The food was also overtoasted, leaving the bread extremely hard and difficult to chew. To make matters worse, I injured the roof of my mouth as a result of the overtoasted food. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience, and I will not be returning or spending my money at the Rolleston branch again.
