Rob its a gourmet market with many options. You can find easily more than 300 types of cheeses, caviar, champgne, beverages, fruits, cold cuts. Maybe its not for everyday shopping but certainly for that exotic spicy, that hard to find cheese, that gift, so many gift options. Rare ingredients? No problem at all!
My favorite "grocery store" in Brussels. They have such a wide variety of gourmet items from exotic fruit, to fresh fish for sashimi, to fresh steak tartare seasoned and not seasoned, and to spices. Every time I visit Brussels, this is the place I get my snacks and food.
Not you average grocery store. Basically everything in this shop is from a higher or highest quality. Its expensive but quality is not cheap. If you are looking for quality and you can spend your money on nice things without going bankrupt this is your place to be! The price of 1 bottle of water from Los Angeles is 59 Euros. Just giving you an idea of pricing in this store.
Have been going to Rob’s since a decade whenever I spend the weekend in Brussels. The cold cuts section is fantastic where you can get delicious bellota. I also love the fish section as you get a variety of fresh fish, nobushi, salmon from Norway and Scotland, among others. Don’t miss the fish soup prepared by Rob’s, IMO, the same one that you can eat at their restaurant upstairs. There’s a great selection of artisanal chocolates and the usual Villars and Galler, etc. A good range of wines, whiskies, and liqueurs on offer too. In short, there are many things here that you won’t find at your usual grocery from exotic teas to gourmet cheeses. Adequate parking for clients. The main catch is the price. Things are pricier here even the still water that you can get at your neighborhood supermarket. It’s not for everyday fare unless you’re oozing with cash but eating good things once in a while is completely worth it and well-deserved.
Rob The Gourmets' Market is a haven for food connoisseurs seeking premium gourmet ingredients. The store offers an extensive selection of top-quality products that cater to even the most discerning palates. From artisanal cheeses and charcuterie to exotic spices and rare oils, their range of gourmet ingredients is impressive. While the prices may be on the higher side, the impeccable quality justifies the investment. If you're willing to splurge on exceptional ingredients to elevate your culinary creations, Rob The Gourmets' Market is the place to indulge your gastronomic desires.
The only place in Belgium were the clerk was not cursing and swearing for not weighing the stuff. Very courteous, clean, smelling fresh, stuff on display organized, imaginative, a rare sight in Belgium.
Upmarket groceries and an impressive wide selection of best wines which is underground via an escalator. Plus, a very good restaurant upstairs for lunches. Minus: Some products are more expensive.
Great location with superbe groceries choice. But best of all is the team sense of service and friendliness towards customer.
The selection of the market is fantastic; you find rare traditional items of good quality. The deli has nice ready meal to buy and get home. The meats are succulent and the vegetables fresh and worth it. The restaurant staff are polite and kind and very patient. The presentation of the food is impeccable. The only shortcoming was the moule I ordered. They could be better but probably out of season. A must visit.
A high-end grocery store, with prices to match, stocking many excellent products and hard to find items, in particular the store specialises in products from France. Their bakery, cheese and charcuterie selection are excellent. You can easily spend €100 here and not have food to last beyond a day or two. It’s certainly not a store you go to for a weekly food shop, more a special place when you want to spoil yourself or others. It can get very busy at weekends and before holidays. With many of the customers being posh and well-to-do, the car park can be a nightmare with drivers parking their cars across multiple spaces and blocking other cars in their SUVs.
