Very impressed! Perfect location for our needs. Family of 8 was able to book out 5 rooms easily and close to the date we needed. Perfect for families, couples or solos. We booked the en suite room and it didn't disappoint only thing, read you could see Mt Taranaki but we were on the opposite side so saw roofs instead but caught the sun rising from our bed. Comfy bed. Really a sweet spot to lay up for a night or too. Would've been great to stay longer to explore the area, but not thisntime. Good parking spots along side the Tavern no issues with a camper trailer Thanks Mike and staff, really awesome service, clean facilities and well priced. 10/10Highly Recommend! Just an additional note: Would love breakfast availability only dinner available on-site.
Absolutely loved staying here. What a neat place. Super clean, rooms have everything you need, bathrooms are lovely, kitchen and lounge comfy as. The pub below is great for a drink and dinner. And the super friendly host and staff make it feel so welcome. Would definitely stay again.
Handy location to Mangamahoe Lake. Needed one night -value for money. Got a room with view of Mt Taranaki. Great host, Mike-very welcoming. Parking available, bar and restaurant, clean communal areas, rooms basic and clean. Cafe across the street and Woolworths just behind.

Top-notch! Mike, the resident legend, is so lovely that you might start questioning if he’s a real person or just a friendly ghost sent to make your stay unforgettable. Seriously, if you’re not careful, you might end up wanting to adopt him! Cheers to a stay that’s more fun than a barrel of monkeys and way less messy!
