Nephew from Aus had a Steak sandwich with a difference but omg delicious with a real steak and chips lol - you have to try cause it is hard to explain the garlic Ciabatta bun.nWe all shared the Seafood chowder and it was creamy and delectable, full of yummy flavours.nBeef nachos for a big guy that struggled to eat the whole lot and he said it was full of flavour, and nachos that it could have been shared.nMy bro and I had beef burgers and they were quite large with nice crunchy chips The beef patty with bacon made the burgers overwhelming delicious and sauces on the side complimented the burgers - a wholesome meal indeed.nThe mochacino was nice and hot with a nice chocolate and mallows on the side and the cappuccino had a nice cracker to compliment the drink.nThe service was great, a sign where the meals menu sits would be nice, as there was no signboard above the till to say what the meals were. It just so happened I asked a customer where they got their menus from.nI think this place is a hidden gem behind a caravan that sells Riverstone coffee, which we will try next time we come through.
The mince is yum and had a subtle curry flavour. The menu said mince on sour dough but it was more like grain bread. Didn't expect the yummy egg.nLast time I had the steak and shrooms pie. Good filling, size and flaky pastry was nice not thick hard or too chunky.nUpdated. 8.55pm.nSori, I read the menu incorrectly.nThe mince meal came as specified with the egg on grain bread.nI loved the steak mushroom pie.nStill delicious. Very happy with the grain bread and mince.
If you have read any of my reviews then you may know that I am a bit of a pie fan.nWell this place certainly scratched that itch!nI had a potato top, the potato was fluffy, the pastry was thin and crispy, and the filling was tasty, in this case with a hint of curry.nMy wife had the bacon and egg, as per usual and was very happy with her choice.nI also had a club sandwich, as I hadn't had one in a few years, and it was delish, a perfect 'traditional' club sandwich.nWe finished this off with a melting moment biscuit, and this was a beast of a thing! Enough for 3! Rich, sweet and with a nice buttery centre.nStop in here if you get the chance to get out of the traffic!
Ordered a slice of carrot cake to go last Saturday 16 Jan. I was glad I had it and really enjoyed it as this one is different... It's moist & not the usual dry that I bought in other cafes, not to sweet and with visible slice of thin carrots nSourdough toast with mushroom is when we dine for lunch.nEven my family enjoyed their meals as wellnnAmbiance wise is relaxing and staff are accommodating.
The best seafood chowder I have ever eaten! The fish and chips and nachos were okay. Customer service was efficient. It was an extremely busy day 26th Dec so inside the restaurant was a little cramped. The art on the walls was lovely!
