Paid NZ$15.60 for a cup of latte NZ$4.80, a cup of mocha NZ$5.80 and a plate of assorted cakes NZ$5. Drinks were good. Cakes were tasty but very sweet. Service was friendly and efficient. They brought the drinks to our table. Ambience was relaxing. Can park car by the roadside.
One of my go to place for breakfast. Loved their fried chicken waffles.
Poor Hygiene, this place was once packed and great but appears to have changed hands. This couple were, and the places were removed, then a serviette used to brush crumbles away, no spray, and wipe the table.nAnother table leaves, and there is a blob of wet food left on the table. The blob is removed with the serviette, and we waited 15 minutes, and either table cleaned properly. To me, this is not clean, yuk, poor hygiene.
RED CAFE OTAKInThe cafe is spacious inside with the extension that was added quite sometime ago.nVery clean and inviting.nCabinet food not a bad selection, but wish they had a better variety of sandwiches, alot of sweet, some savory, but can have something cooked if preferred.nPresentation is excellent.nStaff are very plesant , helpful if need anything.nPricing in my opinion it is much of a much with other cafes l have been too.nHave been there several times now will always go back as it is a nice cafe.nEasy parking around the streets.nDo try this cafe, see what you think.nThankyou Louise.
Must-try buttermilk waffles!!!nWhether you’re in the area or on your road trip, this place is the best stop for a quick bite. There are big parking spaces, plenty of foods and drinks on the menu with friendly services. Will definitely coming back! ;
