RidgeView School is a small semi-rural Primary School on the outskirts of Auckland, New Zealand.
We are a semi-rural, decile 9 school situated 8 km outside of Albany township, on a private road bordered by beautiful farmland and quiet surroundings.
Although some children choose to travel to our school, most either walk from our local village or bike from surrounding areas. We aim for our children to be confident and competent ‘all-rounders’ and work to provide them with opportunities in which they can grow and excel in our supportive environment.
It’s easy to be proud of our kids, who achieve high levels of academic performance, excel on the sports field and perform confidently in cultural events and across The Arts.
We have fabulous staff and children who are supported by a close, connected community. We are lucky to have such a supportive and dedicated parent base who fully involve themselves in many aspects of our school; coaching sports, helping with school events, as parent helpers in and around the school and even supporting our school curriculum.
RidgeView School has the advantage of being small enough to know everyone by name within the week, yet close enough to all the facilities of the city. I really enjoy listening to our families talking excitedly together in the playground about their kids, coming events and recent successes.
