Northcote College is a New Zealand secondary school for boys and girls (co-educational) located in Northcote, Auckland. The school caters for Form 3 (Year 9) to Form 7 (Year 13). It was founded in 1877 and is the oldest secondary school on the North Shore.Sporting codes and cultural activities include rugby, football (soccer), drama/performance, jazz band, orchestra, theatre sports and cultural groups. Very friendly teachers and friendly staff and friendly students, but the only thing I don't like thare a lot of bully at school and they swear allot it feel un safe and they hurt somebody and my friend got punched allot on his back because he's trying to get his ball last time. I HOPE the School FIX THIS PROBLELM
i went there year 9 and year 10. made a lot of friends, i finally felt like i belonged somewhere. if i could still stay there, i would. the school deserves more hype as its great school and everyone will feel like they belong. one of the best schools in the northshore. ps: thank you Ms Leefe, Mr Flyger and all the other teachers who've taught me, you guys make Northcote College a better place with your presence.
Generations of great experiences at this well balanced school that caters well for diverse learners. A big thumbs up from us!
My son went to that college in 2011 and the dean was terrible to him . The dean was very unsupportive . Dispite the fact that I explained to him that my son was getting bullied at the college and was suffering with depression . He promised me that he would be intouch with me if things got worse . I trusted his word . Things indeed did get worse . And he never contacted me back . Not once ! As a result my son did end up in mental health care . And has been taking this medication called Olanzapine ever since . His outcome for the future now is so much harder for him . Which I do believe could have been avoided if the dean did his job in the correct manner . Instead of just using his power to pick on the students . Rather then make the situation much worse . I will edit this again with the dean's full name . I will definitely go out of my way to do this because there is to much suicide with teenagers going on in this country. And it's disgusting that dean's like to this work around these children !
