Good place to lose some money and see friends. Giving it a 5 star because the horses ran quickly. Wouldn't recommend to those who dislike whips etc.

Don't know much about horse racing but if you are in Christchurch, visit the Sunday market , plenty of nice food, good stalls.

No 0.0% alc options is a major letdown. I don't want to drink sprite or water the whole evening.

Cheap vege stalls, not many other stalls we visited on a grey morning. Food in general much overpriced.

Things slowly improving after Covid. Now that summer on its way it should be a busy place with more stalls.

Comfortable grandstand in good location to watch horses getting ready for and after racing. And of course watching the race. Spectator feels close to action. Good entertainment
