Restore Church

My daughter took me here to see a candle light piano music.. OMG I was in heaven it was amazing I was in peace. I had a wonderful time and warm-hearted night...

Came here in December for the Candlelight: A Tribute to Coldplay. It was a different experience. First the church is an art piece of its own, then to see it lit by candlelight takes it to another level. Then you add piano rendition of Coldplay was amazing! We really enjoyed ourselves. The Candlelight shows are affordable. Great for date nights, birthdays, or just want to do something. It was covid friendly in that you wore your mask and there's enough space to distance from others.

We had a wonderful experience at the Church of Heavenly Rest while enjoying Candlelight show and performance of talented New York Quartet for a Vivaldi 4 Seasons

This is not a review of the church that is a beautiful and historic but possibly Fever who coordinated and sold the event. I was so excited to come to this Candlelight concert to hear Vivaldis Four Seasons in such an exquisite place but was so disappointed. If you go it is the worth the extra money to get the good seats in the pews below, either section A or B. I got the balcony seats and my view way up high was of back of heads and in moving to see better , I then dealt with a lantern that was suspended mid view of the performance. Plus there were tons of empty spaces down below in section B which was almost completely empty. It would have been nice for the staff to offer us to to move down closer since the venue was far from sold out. I know we all paid less to sit in the balcony but Fever said on their site that the view was “good”.. They should be honest and tell ticket buyers the view will be poor.

Came in for the Candle light concert: Valentines Day special and it was a lovely experience hearing the talented Skyline String quartet play.

I give the concert a 5, a 3 to the decoration because I think that the candles should be real and not fake candles and a 0 for the entire Staff, especially the managers! they are very rude and strict! I got there at 6:15 pm with my friend, but there is no parking and I had to go out looking for a parking in all the nearby streets and there was nothing! my friend enters to the church and I continue looking for a parking space, the concert started at 6:30 pm, I finally found a parking space super far away!! and I arrived at 6:47 so they tell me that I cannot enter because the doors were closed and I explain in a thousand ways that my friend was inside and I was looking for parking. they did not let me in!!! Outside there was also another guy begging to be let in because his date was inside! They didn't let us in! then they tell me that they won't let me in but I could wait for the next show and watch it with my friend, it turns out that after waiting almost 2 hours for the next show, they wanted to take my friend out because she had already seen it!!! a complete Disaster! very bad handling!! It should be noted that at that time it was empty! My friend and I leave the concert at the 3rd symphony and outside there were 4 people who they closed the door! a bit extreme for something simple!! I will never go there again.

A beautiful Church close to the Guggenheim Museum. A good place for prayer and a moment of silence. This episcopal Church have many activities in addition to Sunday services. Its good accoustics makes it perfect for concerts. The Church has a welcoming atmosphere for visitors.

The candlelight concerts brought me here and it was splendid.

BEAU. TI. FUL. If we're purely looking at churches as an art form, the visual design of this place is amazing.
