This is a traditional fish and chip shop, one of the few left in the district. It has the expected mix of frozen items and those made on site. When in season Bluff oysters are also available.
We hadn’t had to wait for so long for the meal, which made us thought that it would be fresh. Unfortunately, the fish was quite oily and smelling like “old”. The fries were good. Maybe the problem was the time: we arrived 15min before closing, so we can’t judge at all.
Can't fault the food or the service! Second to none! Great Fish'n'Chips!
I have been here and had excellent quality fish and chips, but the last 2 times have not been quite as good chips.
Clean fryers , non greasy , well cooked
Not the cheapest prices but definitely a lot cheaper than most in Queenstown. The chips were great and it was one of the few fast food takeaways we found that you could get a portion of chips from to enjoy at the lakeside.
Good service quality food
We went there last night, the chips were lovely but that's it. Over priced if you looking for a great place to eat, go to Franktons Arms, good price.
A great place for meals in Frankton. Delicious food, reasonable prices and lovely customer service make you pay a second visit!
