We had our entire house remodeled by the team at Refresh Renovations. The transformation was more than we hoped for and it felt like stepping back into a new house. Like any big project there were some up and downs but the Refresh Renovation team got everything sorted and up to a great standard. Special thanks to Rebecca for her amazing organizational skills, Dominic for managing the process and the council, Dan the builder and team for all their hard work and attention to detail, Austin for the best tiling work I have ever seen and Ian for keeping the electrics safe and running during the renovation.
We were short of space living in a two bedroom 1920s bungalow with our growing kids still sharing a bedroom. We didn't want to sell but weren't sure how to move ahead with an extension on an old house, it was all new to us. We decided to talk to Dominic at Refresh, he helped us make the decisions that had been holding us back - from then on the project moved ahead with design, consent and build all happening in a smooth and timely manner. Rebecca was an amazing project manager, we were both able to carry on with work and family life while she took care of scheduling and contractors and also patiently helped us with design decisions. We're really happy with the outcome, we now have the space we need to stay in our much loved home. A lot of the stress involved in managing a project like this was taken on by Refresh. Because our house was old the usual problems cropped up, but everything was discussed with us and resolved. For a first time job of this scale we are really happy we decided to work with Refresh.
We owned a classic Auckland villa in Onehunga which required the usual renovation requirements of an aging villa. These included full house re-piling, exterior and window rot repair and paint including new timber joinery, roof repair and paint, interior painting and tiling, and some plumbing work. Dominic at Refresh initially led us through the design and council consenting process for the re-piling work. Following this, Dominic and his team undertook all the renovation works mentioned above, dealing with all the subcontractors without us having to get involved. Renovations can be stressful especially through COVID, and there were issues which popped up, however these were communicated and resolved satisfactorily. Dominic took care of all the council documentation, inspections as well as the final CCC. Overall we are really pleased with the results and glad we engaged Dominic at Refresh to help us through the process. We would definitely recommend Dominic and his team.
Working through Corey we found the Refresh Rennovation process suited what turned out to be a significant rennovation on our Onehunga villa. Corey and his team of tradesmen were all tested with the number of unforeseen issues that were unearthed during this villa project.The team always presented a number of options available to us before proceeding which gave my wife and I a lot comfort that Corey and his team were looking after our interests. Having Corey project manage the renovation in the end turned out to be our best decision as he took an enormous amount of an underestimated amount of stress away us during the renovation process that to be honest that we totally underestimated. However we now have a totally renovated and beautiful villa that has totally changed how we live. The family couldn’t be happier with end result that Corey and his team delivered.
Dom and Rebecca from Refresh Renovations did an outstanding job project managing our kitchen replacement. They helped with planning and design, had many great suggestions that added to the final look, organized an efficient team of tradies that actually turned up when they said they would and who all took great pride in their work. Rebecca and Dom where always easy to contact and not matter how fussy we were, they greeted us with a smile and a “no problem” attitude. Cannot recommend these guys highly enough and will definitely use them again myself for future renovations. Cheers team
Refresh Renovations completed a full bathroom makeover for us. They helped us convert our very old and tired bathroom and toilet, into a modern and new space. We are very pleased with our new designer bathroom. We found both Dominic and Rebecca very professional and easy to deal with. Refresh managed the whole project, right up to completion, which made the renovation process much easier and less stressful for us. Rebecca did a great job project managing the day to day build, keeping the project on track, and provided regular updates and communication. We did encounter the usual glitches during our project. However, Refresh were able to resolve all the issues and minimise delays. We would certainly recommend Refresh to our family and friends, and we would use them again for future renovations.
'I found the whole refresh experience very enjoyable. I have completed lots of renovations over the last twenty years on several properties. Our current property needs renovation as well. For some initial work I asked Corey to quote and found him likeable and professional. There was never a problem with changes and when I had an issue it was readily received and rectified. The project management was really good and one less thing to worry about, instead of having to interact with multiple contractors I just dealt with Corey which was perfect. I found the tradesmen that Corey introduced us to we're competent, professional and 'good guys'. We have since embarked on a much larger part of our renovation and did not hesitate to reengage Corey to complete the job'
We were very pleased with the result of our renovations carried out by Corey & team. After waiting for months for another renovation company assigned by our insurance provider, we finally took the payout from our home insurance and contacted Corey. Within days of our phone conversation, builders had accessed the project and given us an estimate on costs. Work began within a week of initial contact and completed in timely manner to a high standard. We were kept informed during the renovations of any issues and cost alterations. End of day we were very pleased with the end result and would have no hesitation in recommending Corey & his team at Refresh Onehunga.
