Red Cross Shop

I came here to do a bit of a clothing shopping just like anyone and managed to find what I was looking for at affordable price. One thing that really put a smile on my face was that during the time I was shopping and trying a couple garments on that I realised they where closing up shop, however they didn't rush me in anyway or advise they where closing up soon, they just waited patiently and chatted amongst themselves. I thought that was pretty cool of the staff to be so chilled and relaxed, thanks guys :

Super cheap stuff and staff are friendly : Come here anytime I can! Also someone below in the reviews is complaining about the $400 fine for dumping clothes, seriously? You just want the volunteers to gather your dropped clothes like rags? Every hospice shop has that rule

If you like op-shopping you need to come here. Right in the heart of K Road. It's got to be one of the cheapest op shops I've ever been to. It's not huge, it's long and thin and it's packed full of bargain pre-worn clothing. There are a couple of changing rooms to make sure you get your size right. It's always one of the first shops to open in the morning on k Road. The staff are super friendly and they will help you find that special bargain you are looking for. A gem of a shop that won't take too much from your wallet or purse...

This is one of the best second-hand shops I've been in. the staff as very friendly & second best thing I'm a volunteer there and I love talking to people so if you want a good bargain come to Red Cross in K Road Auckland city you might see me there come up and say hi & please if you got any shopping bags you don't want please bring them up we always run out thank you

They have a sign out the front saying you can't leave clothes there when they are closed, and if you do it's a $400 fine? Are you kidding? So I had to leave all my used clothes, which are good, in a bin. Disgraceful and lazy behaviour to not allow people to leave clothes outside for when they open.

A good recycling store which raises money for the work of the Red Cross. Always worth popping into. Good book selection.

Small store. Real old school feel with stuff everywhere and people sussing out the good stuff. Staff were nice and helpful and the prices were SUPER cheap. Got a wooly hat and thick knit scarf for $6

Today was embrassing people who works here should know how to do customer service, like this old lady announced to the whole store that my card was decline, she even said that I shoud've took off was the word she used, which in the first off I didn't took off since the one the tills let me go without waiting for the approval. The lady was even stressing that my card was decline because my bank declined it, like without her even her looking at the decline error which it's says TRANSMISSION DECLINE. It was terrible experience for me the rest of the staff is okay except that old lady who has a very curly hair she's terrible.
