Best Indian food I've had in a long while. I have been here several times even though I live some distance away. Pahiatua is lucky to have and keep a restaurant with this high standard of food.Food: 5/5
Visited Red Chillies for the first time just more than a week ago & it's also our last. Waited nearly an hour before the lady asked us what our order was, she also did the same with other customers. The butter chicken tasted okay, but we got food poisoning from it. We're very tempted to report them, cause they're young child was also playing on the floor in the kitchen, so no idea how clean they are.
It's not bad, definitely better than some places in Palmy. Takeaway an option here too. I'd order again
Love to eat here, Great menu and i love the Nepalese twists in the menu. If i was to be a bit critical the servings are way too small for the price, and there is never a kingfisher strong in the fridge, which is a must with a good indian spice. But still i go back...
They stuffed up our orders. We ordered two plain naan breads and only got one and a crispy thing. And not only that. I ordered a medium butter chicken and one naan bread and my husband ordered one mild butter chicken and one naan bread and only got one naan bread out of it and a crispy bread thing. Two naan breads plain naan breads not one naan bread and crispy bread thing. Never coming here again. And my husband and I seriously recommend that nobody orders from Red Chillies because they stuff up customers orders.
Was very disappointed with the meal I recieved. I paid 16.40 for a medium lamb korma and once I opened it I would be lucky to have 7 small pieces of meat in the dish. Needless to say I won't be going back to this establishment
Friendly staff. Tasty food. Menu read better than the food tasted. Not sure about chef wearing his mask that didn't cover nose or mouth visible thru the glass panel in kitchen door ....

Rang 4 times said phone in use, drove to pahiatua to make an order in person turns out place was shut. Update your opening times or have a voice-mail saying your opening times and that you've reached outside of them.
