Indian Indulgence is the best Indo-Nepalese restaurant so far in the heart of Palmy. Authentic Nepalese momo and chowmin was beyond awesome and won my heart. Amazing hospitality and the owner is a wonderful Nepalese individual to have a short chat.
Come here way to often , food is always good. They marinate the chicken as you should for a good curry. The spice levels are a tiny bit hotter than some other places but is really nice. I eat here once a week and would advise anyone to try here.
Lovely Indian restaurant with amazing food and beautiful paintings on the walls. The $12 lunch special is great value for lunch and definitely worth checking out. Great atmosphere for evening meals too, especially as they sell beer and wine. A Palmy institution.
Took the family out to dinner to celebrate a birthday. Great service, great tasting meals and great price. Very nice ambience and you get served with a big smile. Recommend to all Vegetarian options: Great vegetarian options available in the menu Kid-friendliness: They have a selection of kids meals as well Parking: Lots of spaces available around the Square
A rating of 5 would have been given but for the fact that the 2 x takeaway dishes that we ordered were mostly sauce! Seriously lacking chicken butter chicken and beef rogan josh. $19 for sauce no matter how good the food is, is just rude!
Used to be my go-to Indian Restaurant in all of Palmerston North I've eaten at several as the best flavour/quality, portion and price but it is no longer so. As of recently they SIGNIFICANTLY raised their prices across the board by an average of $9-10! My regular order was Lamb Biryani, it used to be $16.50 which I admit was probably underpriced for it's quality and would accept even if it was sold for $19-21 with regard to inflation. Instead it now costs $25 similar to most Indian Restaurants located around the City Centre. As if they threw in the towel for competition and called it a done deal. I have since found a new Indian restaurant that has as good quality of a Biryani whilst keeping a reasonable price. Furthermore their service became slower over the recent months where I'd order something, it would say pickup at XX.XX time and I would with consistency recieve my order 5-10 minutes late every time. Several times they got my order wrong too and I had to check the order before leaving the restaurant. Suffice to say, their service quality has gone down and their price has gone up and is no longer an outstanding Indian option in Palmy.
If I could give the service no stars I would. This is now the second time me and my family have ordered online for pick up. Both times the online order has not been done, and a staff member has said they haven't checked for online orders on their computer. The first time we ordered, we had organized pickup for 4.45pm but because they hadn't checked and only found out when we went in, it meant we didn't get the food until 5.30pm. This time the order was placed again for 4.45pm pick up, and at 4.40pm we rang to make sure they had it, which they did not. They said it would be twenty minutes, so pickup at 5pm. We didn't get the food until 5.15pm, half an hour after it was supposed to be ready. To add insult to injury when we got home the containers were on 2/3 full. While it did taste nice, it is disappointing that both times we have had to chase up the orders, and even people who were dining in after we went in got their food before we did.

I am regular customer of your restaurant. You food good in dine in but sometimes in take out, food is not good as per my last experience. Specially in Roti. Last time I hot uncooked roti. I ordered 2 roti and Dal makhani but Roti was very uncooked. I want to call you regarding this but your restaurant was close and I just throw that 2 roti. The thing is even you haven't noticed by yourself that it's cooked or not properly? Sometimes you just forgot put the butter on roti. I am paying whatever price is but sometime you are thinking about that. Unhappy
Excellent food and service. The best lamb saagwala I've ever had. Our favourite Indian restaurant in Palmy.
