Rangiora Showground Oval

I like this wee show ground, its easy to gwt around. The facilities are easy to find, there's more than enough parking and generally most people are pleasant: went to watch some show horses today. Was lovely weather, beautiful horses will go back to the next one.

My member-of-the-public's view: MCM '24 was a well organised event & Goon turned on the sun & wind. HEAPS of people, beautiful cars & food/icecream/coffee etc vans were well spaced. Next time add extra rubbish bins as we were all trying to 'do the right thing', but every bin was overflowing.

Love this show. Woodchopping, cattle, sheep, dog trials, amusements and sideshow rides, community groups, farm machinery, dog trials, domestic industries, show jumping, food, vintage machinery, extreme motorbike riding. Good clean toilets. There was something for every one. A great day out.

MUSCLE CAR MADNESS is on here in March for 6 days, biggest Car Show in South Island. Its a fantastic week of classic cars, over the top vehicles, lovingly restored cars. Plenty of stalls selling retro vintage and real vintage. Pagents for all ages.

Great event here with the Muscle car Madness on around the end of January attracting 800 plus classic, muscle and hot rod cars.
