After our daughter became too sick to travel, we attempted to cancel a reservation that we had at this motel a couple of days ago, but had no response and have now lost our money.nWe attempted to get a refund via booking.com who we booked through, but they didn't receive any response from this motel.nWe tried ringing the 0800 number listed for them on Google but it is no longer valid, there is no number or other contact details on their website, and the one local phone number we did find through further searching was not answered after multiple attempts!nWe were going to reschedule our stay at this place for another date, but after this experience we'll be taking our money elsewhere.nBeware!
Terribly run down - looks like an abandoned motel ! Decidedly creepy. Didn't stay the night which I had booked, even though they had taken my money days earlier. Photos on Booking.com are old, from previous owners. Booking.com would not refund my money - almost impossible to communicate with them if a problem - based in Amsterdam. Will never use them again. Ruined my holiday.
Very dated. A dripping shower splashing water onto the bathroom floor causing a puddle. The light in the toilet didn't work.nI certainly won't stay there again.
Great place to stay. Lovely playground for under 10s. Bring a basketball, if able, as hoop for shooting goals. Tidy. CLEAN. Good value for money and comfy bed. Well laid out self contained unit. Will be back. Thanks Guys.
Great location and from the pictures and reviews we thought this place was the best option to stay in when we did our big move to Canterbury four years ago but... The rooms were overpriced, old and extremely cold. There was only a shower and the water wasn't able to heat up for the family of four of us. The bedsheets were dirty and sleep was uncomfortable. We weren't able to park outside of our room as the owners forgot they had booked us the room on that night so we were made to park at reception on a rainy early September night.nNo apologies or refund even partial given. The service really sweet though which made the rating higher as the owners were apologetic and kind.
