Rainbow Trout Lodge

We've been there twice and planning going to this awesome place again next month as soon as Auckland border is opened. That was perfect place. We had trout fishing, kayaking, hot spring as well. Thank so much wonderful host Tony and Jude.

My wife and I needed some quality time where we could relax and unwind away from kids and every day life. We chose Rainbow Trout Lodge as it looked like it offered just that, and we weren't disappointed. The view is hypnotising as we lay in bed watching the birds, water and mountains. The room is very cozy and well kept, and the quality of the towels, pillows and other items were top notch. Judy's attention to detail is given to things like the complimentary biscuits and chocolates and the wide selection of teas and coffees. The meals were delicious and Tony is a very passionate cook, not to mention the best homemade honey we have ever had. Highly recommended.
