Amazing location, super close to all ammenities, including 4 Square next door. Generally quiet, even though we were next to the kitchen upstairs. Room mostly clean but skirting boards thick with dust. Comfortable, clean bed. Spacious shower with good shower pressure but areas of shower joinery needs replacing. Bonus having a deck area but table & chairs have seen better days. Overall, good stay.
The staff were wonderful at this motel. Everything was super clean and tidy, easy parking and a perfect location. Easy walk to swim at the inlet and there is a coffee shop a 1-minute walk away, for those that thrive on caffeine! Even though town was super busy with loads of people, the motel was pretty quiet. On a busy weekend, pays to book at the restaurants as they are very busy, but some many food genres to choose from. We were lucky enough to score the Tui Suite which is really roomy and felt quite private. Big bedrooms and the beds were comfy. Only recommendation would be adding air conditioning if you can one day! Thanks for looking after us!
Loved this place. Our room had a high ceiling, large king sized bed, very spacious and clean shower and bathroom and a 1 minute walk from the centre of the town. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fabulous Motel!!! We recently had four fabulous nights in the Tahi Suite and had a super relaxing and enjoyable time. Plenty of space with a lovely patio. We would highly recommend and will absolutely revisit
We stay at the Raglan Sunset Motel every year, and the service is always second to none. Jo and her team provide such a warm, friendly welcome and truly go above and beyond to make sure every need is catered for.nThe rooms are clean and comfortable, with plenty of storage and well-equipped kitchen facilities — a real bonus for longer stays. The shower is excellent, and the room heater kept us perfectly cosy on the cooler nights.nWe also made use of The Karioi Room conference facility for our public exhibition, and it was fantastic — a bright, welcoming space with great amenities that received lots of positive feedback from our visitors.nThe location couldn’t be better — right in the centre of town, next to the supermarket and within easy walking distance of lovely cafes, restaurants, and shops.nWe can’t recommend the Raglan Sunset Motel highly enough. It’s the perfect combination of comfort, convenience, and genuine Kiwi hospitality.
