Ordered terakihi fish one paua fritter and chips. Food was well cooked. Not too heavy on the batter and not overcooked. Paua fritter very tasty. Enjoyed very much. Prices similar to other places. Service friendly. A little slow but worth the wait. Shared about 42 dollars between 3 people.
We got fish and chips for the family while camping. They were VERY busy, with massive amounts of people waiting - i have never seen so many people waiting for fish and chips before!nWas told 35 min wait, I was ok with that considering the amount of people waiting. It took 45 mins, which wasn't too bad considering.nTwo of my kids ordered chicken burgers, which were $13 each. They were some of the smallest, saddest looking chicken burgers I've ever seen.nThe snapper, fish & potato fritters were delicious & had generous servings.nOverall, was kind of expensive, but would return as the fish & chips were yummy, just wouldn't get a burger!
We’ve had the red snapper and it was truly the best fish and chips we’ve had so far in New Zealand. We had to wait a bit like 20min but totally worth the wait. They should have a 4,5 rating at least?! Obviously it’s a take away so they only had two small tables outside. But you can also sit at the wooden picnic table infront
I came here with my family and it was the perfect place to go, food was fresh and perfectly cooked and seasoned. Such a friendly welcoming atmosphere to be in. Staff are so kind and the customer service is outstanding. I definitely recommend this place to anyone in raglan. SomenOf the negative reviews i am seeing are nothing like the place i am in. If portions are too small for your liking you should order more.
