Below Average food. The burger bun was dry, and the fish fillet in it didn't taste good. It's not worth the price. The kumara fries was overfried, and the chicken nuggets are a big no. I wonder how this place got good reviews. Excepts for the good views of the wharf, the food is near to tasteless. We threw out most of it. Never coming back here.
4.4 some of the best fish and chips I have had. We ordered the snapper special, was delicious! Fish was cooked perfectly and broke apart while having a great crunch to it. Chips were solid, added a bit of salt to make them pop a bit more i think they are unsalted. Prices are fair for the quality you get. Absolutely would recommend a stop!

The best fish and chips in New Zealand! Big portions for great value. Over and over again! I just love this place. It can get very busy during dinner time but its so worth the wait while soaking up the beautiful view. Sometimes you can catch them processing the fish that has been caught for the day.
Nice and efficient service, my order was delivered in 15min, perhaps because it was after 3pm. Wonderful view from inside and outside tables. The fish and chips were delicious, although fried, was not soggy at all. Both fish were tasty and crunchy. During the waiting time, the friendly staff offered some samples of fish and also wine! Will surely come back often this summer.
