We had our apartment and Management Rights on the market with another company for a year without success, before engaging Lindsay Sandes from Link Business Brokers Auckland. I was unable to attend. Even though I registered I couldn't find a link for the webinar. I emailed the support number and someone was going to get back to me "within 4 days", which still hasn't happened. I tried the support phone number, which was unmanned and with no option for a message... it just hung up on me. I found the entire experience hopeless and frustrating.
Lindsay was great to deal with. He navigated us through the whole process, being new to the industry. He kept in regular touch throughout some tricky patches in the negotiations to keep the deal progressing. We also appreciated his local knowledge and connections and brokering the relationship with the vendors towards the takeover date.
Lindsay has been extremely professional but has also developed a trusting and friendly relationship with us. He communicates regularly and clearly and his information is accurate and relevant. He is a man of integrity and is passionate about what he does. It has been a pleasure having him guide us through the sale of our business and we recommend him highly.
Using JD Hyslop team at Link business was by far the best decision that I made for selling my business. I had spoken to other brokers and these guys had, by far, the most positive attitude to getting my business sold. From the initial meeting where they gained a verbal understanding of what I was trying to achieve to the quality of of the Information memorandum they got the marketing on point. It wasn't all plain sailing as on two occasions a conditional deal was reached, and the buyers dropped out.....one of these because of a serious health scare. I was ready to give up, but JD kept me going. I was so frustrated with people backing out, but the experience of the Link team showed through. We went back to market and on the third occasion secured a deal at a higher price that went unconditional. Selling your business is an emotional experience but these guys were always available and level-headed and they got the job done. If you are about to sell your business do yourself a favour and chat to this team, you won't be disappointed. Thanks Guys! Jim

Lindsay Sandes of Link , took on our business to sell even though he tends to not broker Hospitality Sales. We became good friends in his holiday location via our cafe and built up the trust to engage Lindsay for our sale. Lindsay operates with frank and direct approach and places every effort into promoting the business , the sale and filtering out tyre kickers to achieve the best outcome for our sale.
