The customer service was quite good. The vehicle on the other hand was a bit of a jalopy. Has about 225,000 km, no working heat or air and it shimmies violently when you come to a stop. Glad it got me to where I needed to go!
BEWARE On 8th March I was supplied with a 10yr old rental vehicle with 240k on the clock and an out of date rego dated 18 Dec 23.. I rang the owner who said it was fine to display this. Having lived in NZ for many years this is not true. A valid rego must be displayed at all times. I checked the government site and found out that there is a current rego for the car and he is aware I am staying locally but hadn't even offered to replace it. The customer service from Sharon the owners wife has been offensively rude. Very disappointing and wouldn't recommend. My personal friend Mark Hampton has also had an appalling experience with them. Recommended agency for everyone looking for an attractively priced rental car.nFriendly reception when making the reservation, smooth handover procedures. The car was a pleasure to drive during our tour of Northland.
