Quiet garden that with few visitors. The size is relatively small but the trees and plants here are gorgeous. Some art sculptures dot the vicinity. Saw a fat New Zealand pigeon perched on the tree and a Dunnock on the ground. Lots of Mallard ducks swim on the ponds too.
Beautiful and peaceful garden with stunning lake views. Perfect for a stroll / hanging out.. Well-maintained with plenty of seating. There’s a frisbee golf course for fun. Limited parking nearby, so it’s best to walk from town. A must-visit in Queenstown! parking is paid here and also tough to get..
Nice and tranquil garden, makes for a good walking area. Quite a lot of parking but parking gets full easily. You don’t have to wait long for a spot to open usually
Pure magic.nStunning lake and mountain views, gorgeous flowers, and total peace.nIt's a free, easy escape from the town buzz, perfect for anyone wanting to relax. Stroll, picnic, or just soak it all in.nThere are very clean public toilets at the beginning by the kids playground.nWant to see more of NZ before you travel? Check out my channel, BinkyT.
The gardens are a lovely place for a walk to spend some time outside. The walking paths are in great condition. We did a loop around the outside of the garden and it was approximately one and a half miles.
