Wow. We booked a free tour of the aviary and animal sanctuary online and we had the best time. Our tour guides were both fabulous and we had great fun watching the animals and learning all about them. What a gem of a thing to do in Invercargill. Would visit again and again.
Very nice park. You can easily spend a few hours there, especially with kids. Gardens, little farm, birds, playground, coffee shop… cute park
Great experience to visit this place.nInvercargill it’s self beautiful and peaceful city, doesn’t have much to do this place makes visitor must go place.nBeautifully managed overall and hand crafted garden with love and care in Invercargill style.nAwesome Japanese garden is an extra touch.nKids can enjoy watching Ostrich and lama and other semi domestic animals.nWheel chair friendly and does have bathroom facilities.
Beautiful grounds and so much to discover throughout. Peaceful, serene and stunning. A wonderful park for the little and not so little ones a beautiful rose garden in one section, animals, tuatara. Wonderful day to explore especially on a gorgeous sunny day
Fantastic park & cafe.nUnfortunately lots of storm damage and aviary, botanical gardens & some areas of the park closed.
