A convenient place to have for those without a washing machine like me! The price is a little bit too expensive for a regular basis and I can't smell the soap/softener at all in the end! There's a room in the back to take a shower. Hope they'll have a system for weekly customers with discounted prices. Will definitely come back for a wash every week or so.
It is not staffed and is open until late. We started at around 815 p.m. The lights turn off, but the door remains open. The shower is $1 per minute, minimum 6 minutes. We did not use this amenity, though. We used the medium washer, which costs $10 for a cold wash for 20 minutes, and the medium dryer, which costs $2 per 10 minutes. It looks pretty rundown, but it does the job well. There is a vending machine inside. You will need coins. A Westpac is just around the corner, and the vending machine can change your notes, which is very convenient.
Best laundromat and shower we’ve been to in New Zealand! Had sofas, toilet and shower. Shower pressure was great and could adjust the temperature to your liking.nOur note got stuck in the vending machine as it was crinkled, but the owner was very helpful and we got it back. You can also just go to the shop round the corner to get change instead
