Story

Established in March 2010 by Tiffiny Spencer and Kate Watson, Protege Hairdressing is an industry leading salon with a team of passionate, professional stylists.

Tiffiny and Kate's joint vision was to create a salon experience that is luxurious,relaxed and professional in a clean, contemporary space.
Each client receives a thorough consultation followed by an experience designed specifically for their needs. Clients will also receive information and tips on how best to care for their style at home to ensure the best results between appointments and advice on how often their look will need maintaining.

With a combined 24 years experience in the industry Tiffiny and Kate regularly attend education and competitions regionally, nationally and internationally.

All team members at Protege Hairdressing undergo a thorough induction process followed by an extensive training structure that continues throughout their apprenticeships and careers.

Since opening, the salon and staff have received over 170 awards for a combination of live hairdressing competitions, photographic/editorial competitions and business awards.

In November 2015 Protege Hairdressing were named:
2015 Kitomba/NZARH Salon of the Year.

2015 Sustainable Salon of the Year - Runner up
