I have known RAH since 1994 when Nick Redmayne sold my mother's house - my family home. They sold my own house in Cambridge when I downsized in 2013, and now they have sold a house which I had responsibility for although did not own. All the staff act with total professionalism, courtesy and friendliness. I particularly commend Steve Wells for finding and helping me pick the right buyer, and Jane Bailey for easing the wheels of negotiation throughout the sale process. I recommend RAH without any hesitation.

We were very happy with the service we received from RAH when selling our property. The process of getting the property on the market, including getting photos taken and getting an updated EPC, was very quick and seamless. We had great communication and advice throughout from Steve. Jane was also fantastically helpful at several crucial points during the process, ensuring all parties were kept informed and reassured, and making it possible for us to proceed with our onward purchase as well as the sale. The commission charged was also very reasonable given the high quality of service we received. The only small negative I would mention was that the initial sale price RAH suggested the property be marketed at was very high compared to the offers we got and what it ended up selling for. However, we do understand that the market can be unpredictable, and to be fair to RAH, the other agency we initially contacted gave the same suggested sale price, so this was not unique to them! Overall, a great experience and highly recommended.

After a slow start, RAH have been really helpful with a sale that has not been smooth at all nothing to do with them - problems with a property I was buying. The people I have dealt with at RAH have all been very open and good at managing expectations. George D has been excellent throughout, always giving me really good advice and remaining professional yet supportive when my purchase went wrong, as well as helping me find another property to purchase. I would definitely recommend.

By far the worst estate agents I have ever dealt with. For two years I was a tenant in a flat they managed. During this time, they endangered my citizenship application by taking more than 6 months to produce a rental agreement, which meant I was unable to provide proof of address. The first two property managers were unresponsive and unhelpful despite repeated emails, calls and visits to their office. The agency regularly raised my rent until it became unaffordable 30% rent increase in 18 months. I know for a fact this was the agency encouraging the landlord to raise the rent, because before RAH took over, the landlord had been very reasonable. When I moved out, they tried to unfairly withhold my deposit, claiming I had left the flat dirty and damaged. I contested this through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme, who immediately ruled in my favour as RAH were unable to produce any proof of their claims. They are unresponsive, incompetent, money-hungry and outright hostile at times. Early on, I sent a letter of complaint to the company directors. Their response essentially said that this was the level of service they provide to all their customers so I would just have to live with it. Renting from RAH was an unbelievably frustrating and stressful experience, which I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. I would advise all tenants to stay well away from this agency.

RAH were professional and supportive throughout the period of selling our house. We were very happy with the valuation, the brochure and the contact with the sales team was excellent. All the staff I dealt with were polite, helpful and prompt to reply to any queries I had. I would definitely recommend this estate agent.

Excellent service selling my house. The Agent gave me very good advice when preparing the house to put it on the market and that helped to achieve a good price. Once an offer had been accepted the Sales Negotiator in the office provide excellent liaison between buyer, seller and solicitors. When there was a hiccup both the Agent and Negotiator provided calm and reassuring advice. I strongly recommend this estate agent.

An exceptionally professional sales team from start to finish! It was the level of service I experienced from Stephanie and her sales team which impressed me the most. I could not fault it. Steve Wells is an excellent agent. I was amazed at how quickly were we able to sell our house for a good price with no hitches. He gave us good advise and listened to what we asked for which was for the house to be available to be seen whenever a customer wanted to see it and he was very accomodating. It sold almost immediately. I highly recommend Steve and the office which seems to have to most listings and sales in Cambridge.
