Story

The Primo Clays range includes several smooth white-firing bodies.

The High-fire Porcelain and Mid-fire Porcelain are a delight to use and belie the common myth that all porcelain bodies are tricky to use. They are exceptionally white and beautifully translucent.

The Production White body is a superb throwing body giving excellent whiteness in the 1140 - 1300C range. It is well matched to Abbots Clear glaze. It dries quite quickly and attachments such as handles and knobs stay attached.

White Stoneware and Buff Stoneware bodies are plastic, stable and easy to throw, even for very large pieces.

All bodies are packaged in 10Kg polythene bags. Every effort is made to ensure that the bodies are supplied at a consistent hardness with continuous monitoring during production.

Production White and High-Fire Porcelain are available as Casting Slips in 10 Litre pails.
