Love this space. the two times I've been I've always arrived at the last hour before closing, which gives a lovely chill and relaxed atmosphere without the crowds. lovely homey space and good coffee! Loved the roasted veggies too!
My favourite café in Christchurch! Beautiful coffee with espresso and single origins/filter available. Best scones as well, love the orange and rhubarb scone. Big light space but cosy asthetic with mixture of tables, chairs, armchairs and sofas. Toy box and chairs for little people also a great feature, 100% recommend.
Lovely Cafe and Roastery that is dog friendly! My partner and I enjoyed our brunch here with our Pup Tilly and ate tastey cabinet food including a famous Fairlie pie shop pie, whilst enjoying delicious coffee.nnWould definitely recommend
Excellent coffee and just a really nice space they created to either catch up with an old friend or be productive and get some work done. There is also a very cute eco friendly gift shop inside and a recycling station. We will be back!
Went there this afternoon specially for their specialty coffee. The place’s really nice - cosy and lovely, the kinda place you would like to walk into and spend a day. Not too much options for specialty coffee - one cold brew and the other is from Columbia. And they also sell their home-baked beans in store. Three categories with detailed descriptions at the counter. As I was reading them, the girl at the counter seemed quite patientless, but there’s no one waiting behind me. So I ordered a specialty coffee Columbia beans I think in haste. It was served a kettle maybe brewed early in the morning, I think it has been put too long and the flavor has gone, and it tastes quite flat to me.nnBefore leaving, I have purchased one of their house-roasted beans. Diva is the name. I like the wrapping, with detailed flavor description in front and the logo looks cool too. However I was a little disappointed that I could find no further details of its origins and categories. Haven’t brewed it yet so don’t know the taste. Might make further comments on its flavor when I brewed with my Kalita tomorrow morning.
