We were told there would be a wait of 15 mins. The food came out 35 minutes after ordering. They’re advertising for staff so pop in if you are after a part time job. Ample amount of fish 3 big pieces and a small piece on the fish and chip meal the fish was a little overcooked. The guy dropped one of the fish as he put the plate down. He picked it up 5 second rule applies here. His colleague brought out the other two plates and when they walked she said ‘did you drop her food?’ ‘Yes and I just put it back on her plate.’ Atmosphere was good as it was outside
They make the best egg and bacon burgers in NZ! Tip: There is much more than egg and bacon in their burgers! Absolutely delicious! Plus you can enjoy chowing down whilst looking at gorgeous coastal views!Food: 5/5
Love the inside eatery. Great veiw. Lovely big windows you can open while eating for a nice sea scent and cool breeze. Food was simple yet very tasty and nicely presented. Loved our whole first experience here and this will be my new eating spot from now on. Beach right there. All amenities also right here. 5 stars from me and my family. Parking: On a average sunday plenty of parking, but in the summer holidays I would say it maybe a bit more tricky.
Best fish n chips meal I have ever had. Been here 3 times now for the fish. Fresh and perfectly cooked and in large portions. I have traveled a lot and my partner and I visit a lot of cafes and this is number one on the list hands down. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed

We sat in the restaurant waiting for our takeaways. Comments - lighting too bright, temperature perfect, cool tables but the room needs plants. Food was ok, chips undercooked but crumbed dory was really good. Squid ring was a 0/10. No squid in that squid ring. Cheese burger was 9.5/10. Parking: No issue with parking

Unfortunately, very disappointed with our experience here, staff weren’t welcoming but was most disappointed with their serving size for the price they charge. Payed $8.50 for some cheesy weezy’s and was shocked when she handed over a small white container, only to open and see that had not even been half filled. There was no seasoning on the chips and only a sprinkle of cheese when we expected more, given it is in the name

Terrible rude owner once confronted after eating out of our fish and chips parcel before he was wrapping it! Told he owns the place and if we don't like it go elsewhere. If your hungry make your own food don't eat from your customers orders. I will be looking into this hygiene practice further! Food was very average. Horrible experience I will never return.
